pdaxrom導入中止！

ダメだ。rxvtもしくはktermからximで日本語入力する手段が存在しないようだ。どうもuim-ximがうまく動いていないため、uim経由で直接入力するgtkterm2を使うか、uim-fepを使ってX無しコンソールと同じような入力をするしか無いようだ。gtkterm2よりopie-termnal-jaの方が軽かったし、uim-fep使うならX無しのunicon環境の方がいい。pdaxromはuniconパッチ当たってないし、結局は元のQt環境の方が良いような気がしてきたぞ。
その他、気になること

  • マウスを使わせ過ぎ！ Linux PCと同等環境なので仕方ないか
  • ウィンドウの領域が無駄に小さかったりはみだしたりしている
  • gtkterm2のアンチエイリアスはあまりきれいじゃない
  • 時々ハングアップする。Qt環境より不安定
  • qpkgの選択が面倒。カーソルキーで選択出来ない

結局pdaxromはあんまり実用的じゃない気がした。Mozilla Firefoxが起動するというのがウリだが、そこまでFirefox使うわけでも無いしな。ワシ。

I gave up using pdaxrom. There is no way to write method to kterm or rxvt by xim(X input Method). uim-xim seemed to not working. So I need to use gtkterm2 or uim-fep.
But gtk-term2 is heavier than the previous environment (opie-terminal-ja) and uim-fep is not so convinient. And kernel of pdaxrom is not patched unicon (to display japanese character on framebuffer). So I think original Qt environment is better.
And I thought

  • I have to use mouse too much like PC.
  • Window is too small or too big!
  • anti-aliases of gtkterm2 is not so clear
  • sometimes kernel hungs up. It is not stable than original Qt environment
  • It is not easy to use GUI of qpkg. I cannot select by cursor key.
