早めに会社から帰れたので昨日問題だった件について調べてみた。

  • 文字化けについて。apt-get update ; apt-get upgradeで直った。

但しemacs起動時にadobeのhelveticaフォントが見付からないというメッセージが出たので以下のサイトに従い、xfonts-100dpiとxfonts-75dpiを導入したところ、メッセージも消えた。

  • 入力について。こちらも直った。

uim-anthyとuim-xim導入後、uim-pref-gtkというuimの設定ツールを立ち上げて"anthy"と選択する必要がある。haと打って"藤"という漢字が出ていたのだが、これはuimに関連づけられている入力が無い、direct入力になっていたのが原因だった。以下のサイトに従いuim-pref-gtkで設定後にXを再起動したところ、正常に入力出来るようになった。めでたし。

Today,I could go back to home so I check about the yesterday's issues.

  • Font issue: I could fix by "apt-get update; apt-get upgrade". I don't know what had happened yesterday. And I still had a worning message about helvetica fonts. After install xfonts-100dpi and xfonts-75dpi,this message was disappered.
  • Kanji converting issue: I also fixed. To change the configuration I had to chanbge the setting by using "uim-pref-gtk" command. It is not enough just install uim-anthy and uim-xim. By this setting uim inserts characters directly(not using uim). After changing the setting of uim by uim-pref-gtk. It goes to work fine.
