行ってみたら以前来ていたドイツ人の男性がひさびさに顔を出されていた。3週間の出張で再度日本に来られたそうで、それまではシンガポールとドイツを往復する日々だったそうだ。日本語を勉強したいがスケジュールが詰まっていて時間が無い。僕が君の英語くらい日本語がしゃべれたらどんなに幸せだろう、とのたまう。私は英語にコンプレックスを感じているが、それでも外国の方と最低限のコミュニケーションが取れているのだから今の状況に感謝しなければいけない。

In today's lesson, a man from Germany came again. It has been about one and a half year since I met him. Currently he mainly stays in Singapore and Germany. He said that he want to communicate in Japanese he only knows several Japanese words but he can't understand Japanese and he's schedule is packed so he has no time to study. He praised my English and he also said that he wish he can speak Japanese like my English. I should appreciate my current condition because I already have a skill to have a least communication with foreign people.
