伝説の人の来日

今日は私の専門分野では非常に高名な方が来日されたので近所の大学まで講演を聞きに行った。バレエで言うとバリシニコフくらい高名な方である。教科書でしかお見かけしなかった方だったが今もご健在でお仕事していらっしゃることに驚きだ。しかも1:1で話すことも出来た。感激である。

The person in the legend in my field came to Japan and delivered a talk for us. I went to listen to his talk to the University. He is really famous like Baryshnikov in ballet. I was so glad that I could talk with him personally. I was so excited.
