ひぐらし原因判明

途中でハングする原因分かった。フォントが犯人だ。セーブデータのメニュー画面で小さいフォントを表示する必要があったのだが、使っていた東風ゴシックは小さいフォントを表示しようとすると内蔵ビットマップになってしまうのだ。ONScripterはプロポーショナルにしか対応していないのでそこでmemmory corruptionを起こしてハングアップしてしまうことが判明。
やるべきことはすべてのサイズをプロポーショナルで表示するフォントに切り替えることだ。フリーで知られるものは、どうやら「みかちゃんフォント」だけのようだ。みかちゃんフォントは名前の通り、みかちゃんという女性がＰＣでサポートする文字全てを手書きして作ったという恐るべきフォントである。みかちゃんフォントを導入して試したところハングアップが起こらなくなることを確認。ようやくストーリに戻れる。

I found the reason why it got stuck on the save menu in Higurashi. The reason was the font. Current font,Kochi-gothic displays bitmap font in showing small character,but ONScripter doesn't support bitmap so the memory curruption was induded and it got stuck.
All what shoud I do inow is to replace the current font to the font that can display proportional font in all size. The only font distributed in free is only "Mikachan dont". As the name shows,this font is made by the girl named Mika. She wrote all the characters supported in PC by hands. It is amazing!
I installed Mikachan font and confirmed that the problem was improved. So I can proceed to the main story in Higurashi.
