某スタジオ

先週から今までのスタジオに加えて新しいスタジオに通い始めた。最初に問い合わせたところ、先方からの返事は「男性は諸事情により基本お断りしている。ただし、一回のみの見学または体験レッスンに来てもらい、双方の意思でOKが出た場合のみ入会可能」という厳しい条件だったのでビビっていたが、行ってみたら親切にご対応頂いた。、こんなおっさんにということで大変恐縮するばかりである。
レッスン受講後は、他の生徒たちにもヒアリングして、NGが出たらダメということらしかったが、NGもなく無事受講の許可が出た。皆に認めて頂きありがたいことである。
レッスンを受けてみて感じたのが、男性を基本お断りしていた理由は、教えている先生が若いためだと思った。実際教えられていたのは、受付にいた大先生ではなく、若い先生だったが、その先生がどうみても10代にしか見えない。実際調べてみたら高校三年生だということが分かりビックリだ。これまでで一番若い先生だな。多分先生に弟子入りしてキャリアを積まれているところなのだろう。

I've started to go to a new dance school. When I contacted the studio, I heard that "Basically, male students are not accepted. However, if you come and take a lesson and both sides are OK. You'll be accepted to enter the studio." I was scared to hear that but the teacher was so friendly and greeted me.
After that other students also said OK to me to enter. I'm so glad to hear that.
After that, I thought that the reason of not permitting male students was the teacher's age. She looks like teen and she was actually a teenager. She is the youngest teacher I've ever seen!
