例の麻薬中毒のバレエダンサー、ゲルシー・カークランドの自伝である。
読んでみたが、なんというかこんな暴露本を出す彼女の精神はどうもおかしいと感じた。
この本で、バランシンに対する批判を行い、バリシニコフとの私生活を暴露し、パトリック・ビッセルとの麻薬生活をも赤裸々に書いている。関係者はたまったものではないだろう。特にパトリックだ。この本が出され、彼は多分もうバレエ会では生きていけなくなったのではないだろうか？ この本(英語版)が出版されたのは1986年。パトリックが麻薬の過剰摂取で無くなったのは1988年である。もしかして、彼は単なる麻薬による死亡ではなく、あえて過剰に服用して自殺をしたのかもしれないな。いやはや、女性は恐ろしい。

"Dancing on my grave" is an autobiography of Gelsey Kirkland who is a famous ballet dancer and addiced by cocaine.
I read the book and I felt she is rather crazy to pushlish such a book.
In this book she criticizes Balancine and she was exposed the secret life with Baryshnikov and Patrick Bissell. The involved person might be suffered by this book. In particular,for Patrick it was critical issue to live in the ballet world. This book was published in 1986. And his death was 1988. So it might be possible that he committed a suicide by overdoze of cocaine because he cannot live by this book.
